SOUTH COAST OF CRIMEA,
AUGUST 97 The USSR was broken. Many new countries appeared including Ukraine. Crimea is a part of Ukraine now. It was the most beautiful place in the USSR. Communist leaders very love it and had got a rest there. Crimea is a peninsula. This wonderful place has mountains, woods, steppes. It is very nice climate there. It has special name: Dry Subtropics. Every year I have a rest in Crimea. I swam in the Black Sea, climbed mountains, visited palaces, theaters and art exhibitions. This august I bought cheap photo camera and made some photos. I decided to get up to the top of Ai-Petry Mountain by the rope-road, walk through the tableland some kilometers and go down to Jalta town by very nice path named "Falling Stone". I know these places well and go alone. Let's see! |
